Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how StealthCompany, LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Trade mobile application and any related websites and services (collectively, the "Service").

The short version: Trade collects what it needs to let you trade clips with your friends, and not much else. There is no advertising in Trade. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your clips for advertising or to train AI models.

1. Information We Collect

a. Information you provide

Account information. You sign in with your Apple account (Sign in with Apple). We receive your name and email address from Apple; if you use Apple's "Hide My Email," we receive a private relay address instead of your real one. You also choose a username and display name, and may add a profile photo.
Content you create. The clips you record (short videos, recorded without audio), the thumbnails generated from them, the prompts you answer, messages you send in group chats, reactions, and the groups you create or join.
Communications. Information you provide when you contact us by email or report content in the app.

b. Information collected automatically

Push notification tokens, so we can notify you when a friend sends a trade or a trade unlocks. You can turn notifications off in your device settings at any time.
Device and log information, such as device type, operating system version, app version, IP address, and timestamps of requests, collected through our infrastructure provider as a normal part of operating an online service.

We do not collect your contacts, your precise location, your phone number, or advertising identifiers. The Trade app does not include third-party advertising or marketing analytics SDKs.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

provide the Service: store your clips, deliver them to the groups you send them to, and enforce the trade mechanic (keeping clips locked until you send yours);
process your media: our systems automatically generate thumbnails and periodic group recap videos from the clips you share;
operate accounts and profiles using your username, display name, and profile photo;
send push notifications about activity in your groups;
respond to your questions, reports, and requests;
monitor usage and performance to maintain and improve the Service;
protect the security and integrity of the Service and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not use your content or personal information for third-party advertising, and we do not use your content to train AI models.

3. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data where:

it is necessary to provide the Service to you (performance of a contract);
we have your consent, where consent is required by applicable law;
we have a legitimate interest, such as securing and improving the Service.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these situations:

With your groups. This is the point of Trade. Your profile (username, display name, photo) is visible to members of your groups, and the clips, messages, and reactions you send to a group are visible to that group's members once unlocked under the trade rules.
Service providers. We use trusted vendors to operate the Service: Google Firebase (Google LLC) for authentication, database, file storage, and media processing; Apple for Sign in with Apple; and Expo for delivering push notifications. These providers process data on our behalf under their own contractual and security obligations.
Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Trade, our users, or the public.
Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or a portion of our business.

5. Data Retention

Account information (username, display name, profile photo): kept while your account is active, and deleted when you delete your account, immediately or as soon as technically feasible.
Clips, thumbnails, messages, and other content: kept until you delete them or delete your account, then deleted immediately or as soon as technically feasible. Copies may persist briefly in backups before being purged.
Push tokens and logs: kept only as long as needed to operate the Service.

Remember that once a trade unlocks, other members of the group have seen your clip on their devices; deleting it removes it from the Service but cannot undo what others have already viewed or captured outside the Service.

6. International Transfers

Your information is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure operated by Google Firebase, located in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in countries whose data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to:

access the personal information we hold about you;
request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
request deletion of your personal information;
object to or restrict certain processing;
withdraw consent where we rely on consent;
lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

You can delete your account and its data directly in the app. For anything else, contact us at hey@stealthlabs.llc; we may need to verify your identity before responding.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hey@stealthlabs.llc so we can delete it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. Your data is encrypted in transit and encrypted at rest on our infrastructure. Access to your clips is restricted by per-user and per-group access rules, so content is only readable by you and the groups you share it with, and internal access follows least-privilege principles. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice in the app.
